EAR PIERCINGS

Lobe:
This is the most common type of piercing. It’s made using a gun or a needle of 1.2mm, 1.6mm or 2.4mm with a BCR or barbell. It’s worth remembering that it will be easier to dilate a hole which has been made using a needle.First change: 8 weeks // Healing time: 6 - 8 weeks
Pinna:Because the cartilage is very sensitive, normally the perforation is made using a needle, not a gun. You could use a BCR piercing or a barbell.First change: 8 weeks - 2months // Healing time: 2 - 4 months
Tragus:
The Tragus is the tough fold of cartilage that sticks out over the entrance to the ear canal. This piercing has become very fashionable recently however, it can be difficult to heal. You can use a wide variety of jewelry pieces such as labrets, BCR’s or barbell.First change: 8 weeks - 2 months // Healing time: 2 - 4 months
Anti-tragus:
The anti-tragus is the raised fold of cartilage that sits on the outer edge of the ear, above the ear lobe and just opposite the tragus. This piercing can be difficult to heal so we recommend you use a P.T.F.E. (Polytetraflouroethylene) piercing. Once healed, you can use jewelry of any material.

First change: 8 weeks - 2 months // Healing time: 2 - 4 monthsSnug:
This piercing is through the inner cartilage of the ear and can be difficult to heal so we recommend you use a piercing made of P.T.F.E. (Polytetraflouroethylene). Once healed, you can use jewelry of any material.First change: 8 weeks - 2 months // Healing time: 2 - 4 months
Forward Pinna / Helix:
This is located at the top of the ear near the side of the head. We recommend using a BCR piercing.First change: 8 weeks - 2 months // Healing time: 2 - 4 months
Conch:
The conch is the large area of cartilage at the back of the ear. The healing process is often difficult so we recommend a P.T.F.E. piercing. Once healed, jewelry of any material can be used and because of the location a BCR piercing can also be used.First change: 8 weeks - 2 months // Healing time: 2 - 4 months
Industrial:

This piercing connects the upper cartilage of the ear to the bottom using a bar with a barbell. This piercing has become very fashionable recently, being especially popular with young people.First change: 8 weeks - 2 months // Healing time: 2 - 4 months

FACIAL PIERCINGS

 Eyebrow:
For this piercing you can use a BCR or a curved or straight barbell. However, there is a small chance of rejection if the straight or curved barbell is used. Which barbell you use will depend on the shape of the eyebrow.
First change: 3 - 4 weeks // Healing time: 2 - 3 months
Anti-eyebrow:
This piercing is situated below the eye, following the line of the cheekbone and normally just above it. Because this is a surface piercing, we use P.T.F.E. piercing as it is lightweight and flexible.First change: 3 - 4 weeks // Healing time: 2 - 3 months
Nose:
The position of this piercing depends mainly on the shape of the nostril. An enormous variety of jewelry can be worn here from small gems to hoops. First change: 8 weeks - 2 months // Healing time: 2 - 3 months
Lip:
The lower lip can be pierced anywhere, usually through the thinner tissue below the lip. We recommend you use a BCR or a labret, although this may slow the healing process down.
There is a subcategory of lip piercing which are often called Madonna or Monroe. These piercings are situated on the upper lip, imitating the distinctive moles of these two iconic women.First change: 3 - 4 weeks // Healing time: 2 - 3 months
Septum:
The septum is the thin cartilage on the inside of the nose that separates the nostrils. If possible, the piercing should be made through the tissue below the septum as the cartilage can be very tough.First change: 6 weeks // Healing time: 2 - 3 months
ORAL PIERCINGS
Tongue:
This piercing is normally situated in the centre of the tongue. We recommend you use barbells made of P.T.F.E. as they are flexible, more comfortable and also speed up the healing process.First change: 2 - 3 weeks // Healing time: 1 - 2 months
Upper Frenulum (smiley):
This piercing is found under the upper lip, through the fine membrane (frenulum) which connects the lip to the gum. Here, a BCR piercing or a curved barbell can be used.First change: 2 - 3 weeks // Healing time: 1 - 2 months
Lower Frenulum (Marley):
The Marley is found under the tongue and goes through the membrane (frenulum linguae) that connects the tongue to the mouth, sometimes called tongue webbing.First change: 2 - 3 weeks // Healing time: 1 - 2 months
